That's kind of my point. The IPA would have to negotiate for something that other airlines get and the majority of hotels include in their corporate rate. Like turning down the USA Today and they will take 50 cents off your bill.

It's something that would make life easier when you're on the road 2 weeks. To me, it's a perfect example of the lack of goodwill towards crewmembers.

BTW, I like my job too, but I'm a glass is empty person here so I'm never disappointed. Must have spent too much time with Sideshow.

The irony of working at UPS VS FedEx is as long as you keep your expectation low here you will never be disapointed. I know its sad but its a fact.

Then go rent an xyz so the rest of us can "fly for a living".

Seriously.... fun??? Most hobbies are much more exciting than droning around for hours at crz watching the autopilot.

I've been the same number for years now. While I would like there to be movement and upgrades, I'm not going to let it affect my personal life at home and think about it 24/7. Of course I would not be happy at my current seniority making $150K forever but I'm also not going to get all worked up about it because I have absolutely no control over it. I'd rather be hoping for growth but content than unhappy because we are not growing and hung up on it while it's not under my control anyway. That's all I was saying. Upgrade will come when it comes, regardless if I am hung up on it or not. I'd rather spend my life content at home than miserable...that is a choice that I have made. Does that answer your question?
Trust me, I did more b!tching when I was at the commuters than there are stars in the sky. Got sick of it.

I guess with BL taking a job at AirBus lays to rest any doubt as to his getting terminated!

Most of us at UPS have worked at multiple airlines and have been furloughed many times before, so I will see your "chicken sh*t" and raise it a "bull crap."
One word. "DHL". I win.

FP, please take a look around at some of your neighbors, before you post statements like the above, as you can be sure that the vast majority of the USA's population would be damn happy to be making $150K/year forever.

Yes they would but they are not willing to bu$t their a$$ for it so sorry I'm not going to feel bad about saying what I said. Anyone is welcome to educate themselves and strive to make good money. I didn't miss out on most of my 20's flying all over the place so I could make $30K a year or
$150K a year for that matter.
