The basic app, without the subscriptions, is a front end for P.F.C. It brings a similar login process to iOS that is used on Fx eGrid or BidX. That feature alone makes the app worth the $13.99 to me. You can check open time as always within P.F.C. In fact, I prefer to access P.F.C via this app vs. my laptop or desktop.

Personally, I don't trip trade very often, so I am not purchasing one of those subs.

That being said, the open time features are very handy. You only need one of the subscriptions if you want to use the advanced open time features. Those features all you to quickly tell if a trip fits on your schedule via a color coded classification. You only purchase one of the two offered subs, based on whether you want the polling feature, which is a $.50/month add on.

I do know that he has worked hard on this app and it makes navigating the website much simpler than using Safari.

Does this program "deal with" the strange colored characters and auto enter your e-grid code?

Guys!! Borrow a crowbar and pry open your rusty wallet!!

When you pay for this (and any) basic iTunes store app, you own it not just for this year and/or the next but FOREVER!!! The basic app gives you a simple, integrated password and eGird LogIn to the website from you iPhone. Eliminating the eGrid aggravation factor alone [forever] is worth the price for me!! But hey-- I paid $30 for my [forever] Slingbox app which I use often. I don't mind spending for apps that improve my QOL-- FX Cal qualifies.

So what else could justify this Forever price? Simple front-end access to p.f.c. with Quick Links to webpages via an integrated [scalable] browser. Downloads your VIPS calendar and can download and store all your individual trips too. Separate subscription options to do OpenTime from your iPhone. The OpenTime subs are buy it when you need it options. You may only need it once or twice a year, but I guarantee that if it enables you to get "that" trip it will have paid for itself may times over, so what's the beef with the price?

The appDude has put over 2 years of his time and effort making this app a reality, and you want him to give it away? Come On Man!! It's a specialty app for a limited audience and worth the price he's asking. Just a reminder, he IS already giving away the Mac OS X FX eGrid app.

I think this app is a great value that will make your p.f.c life easier!! You really need to visit the FXPilot website and evaluate its [forever] value for yourself and not judge it based on the [forever] sticker price.

Yes it does, and it requires fewer brain cells than the BidX solution.

Wow, Really glad so many are passing! More for me. lets see, 1 6 hour trip at $253 an hour =1518 divided by 42 a year. I'm good for the next 36 years! As with any program, you gotta play with it a bit to get comfy.

Classic spoofing techniques. "Nah, it costs too much....don't need it, don't want it, blah blah blah" Meanwhile, you're plunking money down and downloading that puppy as fast as your greedy little I-phone fingers can input your personal E-grid. Kudos to one of our own for trying to 1) help out his fellow pilots, and 2) get a little coin in exchange for all his time & trouble. Bought it, like it, and happy to ADMIT it.

As a beta tester of KB's baby for the past 8 months I'll say: yeah, it's too expensive, that's the ticket! Just move on, nothing to see here! Whatever you do, don't purchase this RIDICULOUSLY overpriced and USELESS product!

KB deserves to take this excellent app to the bank after the @ss-pain he has endured to get it to this point. Any of you chuckleheads who are balking about the pocket lint it'll take to get it up and running on your devices deserve to lose the charter trips the rest of us will be flying!
