I trust the "Super Loyal" statement was tongue in cheek?

Unfortunately these days, especially in the airlines world, loyalty seems only demanded one way. I try to be loyal but also remember that if the company wants to get rid of us they won't be giving any two weeks notice, or keeping us on the books as it is the "right" thing to do: to the street you go!

If we (FedEx) are kicking your butts, why is UPS always far more profitable %-wise? Your company is doing something right.

Because they stay away from freight and only try and move next day air packages.

UPS is a dividend machine that hates growth. FedEx is all about growth. That's all there is to it.

Ask around, you'll get the info you want. And it IS TRUE, not a rumor. Just call your local union rep if you doubt it.

In the mean time we are all feeling the size of the big brown D*&do.

PS Fedex, PLEASE CALL ME!!!!!
