The last "amnesty" we negotiated was for guys with unresigned seniority numbers elsewhere - at a time when the company claimed a desperate need to have fewer pilots and enter 4.2.b. Trust nothing that they do or say - you'll be right more often than you're wrong.

I'd like to offer the company an Amnesty program -

If you quit trying to "optimize" FDA crewmember costs we'll stop inventing new ways to make it work financially.

Is there an online class that people can take to help them understand what one of these "" means?

No, you are wrong. As a matter of fact, I voted against Loa1 and 2 and the contract we signed in 2006.

That said, I actually read these things. Maybe you should give it a try...

The problem is, we have NO idea what this investigation is all about, and NOBODY on either side is letting us know.

50%, you are kidding me right?! Not even 10% of the crew force knows this is happening.

Last week on a layover, while meeting up with my captain AND the check airman for dinner, I mentioned that the SS ticket beat the JG ticket and won the MEC elections after two days of block rep debates. They BOTH looked at me like I had a third eye! "Huh? What are you talking about?"

No joke

[QUOTE=Perm11FO;1007686]I want a crew force that looks out for each other, even if they have no interest in the domicile.

But I guess that I'm just dreaming..... the "it's all about me" folks will never open their minds to support those that are in domiciles that they don't have any interest in.[/QUOTE

Actually I do care that is why I voted against all the FDA LOAs but the real strength would have been for no one to bid them. So some of the blame does rest with the people who bid a sub-standard FDA assignment.

I've seen much of the same from the exact same demographic you describe.

Unfortunately, ignorance is still bliss for many of our senior bretheren.
