Plus it's nice not waiting until the next day to know the results.
It's sad that we work for a company that has made us so jaded even the good things are looked upon with great suspicion.
One could argue that this new system throws seniority out the window. I am junior so it benefits me but I can see the point that could be made.

Perhaps I'm wrong, but doesn't the first round "Line Improvment Trip Trade" (LITT) go in seniority order? Then later, the regular First In First Out (FIFO) are processed? This seems fair to me.

I don't know though. I've attempted six trades here. One was approved.

Correct.

Yes it does not honor seniority, but where is the violation in that ? So what is the argument ...

One could argue that the junior members have had their contractual rights violated since 2006 by not implementing the real time open time system.

I'm on reserve, and get nothing ... and like it !

Well this is one part I would like to see corrected during this next contract. I doubt that the people negotiating the contract have sat one day of reserve at UPS and don't know anything about the pain you and me face on a daily basis.

More reason the IPA needs to get back into the business of scheduling. Trust me brother, I know about the ways this company is exploiting this pilot group right now!
