It's not even close to PBS. This is a good thing. Albeit, about 4 years late. How have you never had a trip trade approved? In the 5 years I've been here I've been granted every one that was contractual/legal. This actually takes the "human factor" out of it. Plus it's nice not waiting until the next day to know the results.
It's sad that we work for a company that has made us so jaded even the good things are looked upon with great suspicion.

I don't know though. I've attempted six trades here. One was approved.

One could argue that this new system throws seniority out the window.
One could argue that the junior members have had their contractual rights violated since 2006 by not implementing the real time open time system.
I'm on reserve, and get nothing ... and like it !

Well this is one part I would like to see corrected during this next contract. I doubt that the people negotiating the contract have sat one day of reserve at UPS and don't know anything about the pain you and me face on a daily basis.
