They quit? Or were they invited to seek other employment by the company?

I'm waiting for the call from DB. Thought I had "all my ducks in a row" and everything they were asking for plus an internal and met her in Vegas, no call so far...not to be a downer, but man I don't like the wait.

..repeat..

It is what it is..............................................

More importantly, IT IS NOT, WHAT IT IS NOT...................

Write down the reasons you want to fly here. If too fly the "whale" is in the top three, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Or stay where you are.

This job is not for everyone, or maybe most.

I have done the commuter gig, domestic airline gig (727 - 737), international gig (757 - 767), and now I have found my home. Do yourself a favor, much less us, if you even have a "second" of doubt, go somewhere else. If you don't, come fly with us, IMHO, the best job in the world.

I couldn't disagree more. If you're not sure the non sked thing is for you or not, give it a shot. You might like it, you might hate it, but you'll never know unless you try it.

Couldn't disagree more. Let someone else have the job and dont waste your time. To p!ss away an opportunity like Atlas is an insult to those that helped you get there in the first place.

You guys are making it out to be alot more than it is. It's just a job. If you don't like it, quit, and they'll hire someone else to replace you. Or you can not pursue it and always wonder if it would have worked for you.

If it's "just a job"...then you need to go work at WalMart.

Putting aside a few bad apples who might go through the hoops on purpose to burn Atlas out of a type, I honestly think it is completely unreasonable to expect ANYBODY to know if they will like anything for the rest of their life after a one-day interview. How many people go to military flight school and decide shortly after going in that it wasn't all they thought it was, despite the hype? Were only human and again, this is only a job.

The way I see it, somebody gets hired at Atlas, decides its not for them then leaves. Fine. Costs the company time and money, which is bad, but won't you have a happier workforce with people who really want to be their? Then another slot opens on the next interview date (hello, still waiting for the phone to ring giving another a chance.

It goes both ways. It's not unheard of for a company to hire and train a guy, then realize that they don't want to be dealing with his bull****** for the next 30 years and fire him before he's off probation. Nobody questions it... "comes with the territory"
