Anyone use the ASA Prepware Download edition for their FEX prep or is the Sheppard the best one out there? Also is a flight computer like the Sporty's E6B calculator really needed or just a normal one?

Sheppard is outstanding.
No, you don't need a whizwheel.

Sheppard really is outstanding. 1 Day of prep with them (about 6 hours) and I completed the test in 14 minutes - 100%!!

LOL! This is great. This has to be the highest recurring question on the cargo forum. I know it's a great question, because I also asked it .

Nitefrater seems to just cut and paste his exact same answer from earlier threads, cool of him to do. If nothing else, this thread is a good indicator of who on this board has patience, and who is, let's say, still working on being a little more patient.

Good luck LifeNtheFstLne, glad you got your FEX written results in before the window closed.

I took my first FEX written using the ALL-ATP's system, and the second using Sheppard Air Flight Test 4.0 Prep Software ATP, Flight Engineer, Mil Comp - FAA Airline Transport Pilot. Sheppardair is by far simpler as you can study on your own time, for as long as you want. The sheppardair gouge is much better also. Essentially, less work, IMO.

Good luck.
