FDX-Narita crews?
Can anyone fill us in as to the situation on the ground right now in NRT? It looks like the airport is operating. What's the situation at the hotel? Anyone know what our ops plan is or how it's being affected? Revisions?

We're having about an aftershock an hour or more here.. just put a notice under the door that Narita will be lights out (no electricity) from 12PM until 4pm.. (airport has it's own power.) Life is great! I'm sure there's someone with the EVAC switch on 24/7 duty in GOC as we speak.. good luck with that. Just watching the wind direction..

Just landed NRT on DH fm MNL. The look on all Japanese faces is heartbreaking. They are sad and very frightened at the same time. Was wondering why Co. is still bringing folks in country w/an aftershock an hr and potential radiation issues.......Co. security website hopelessly behind (read usless). Just had a nice aftershock......NRT Hilton dancing like a bobble head doll......no news on Noodle Shop/Jetlag....

What was the result of the planned electrical outage?
Anyone go into town tonight?

The title of this thread is FDX Narita Crews. Asking guys currently laying over in NRT what the situation is does not in any way mean that one is not thinking of the tragedy and the consequences striking the people of Japan. But, if you feel the need to lob grenades into a discussion, then just use the good manners to at least yell "Fire in the Hole".
