Why would you get it if there were no errors/omissions on your application?

It doesn't appear that many people who got it had errors either.

I think it was just a friendly reminder to check everything before the app window closes. Maybe some of the folks who didn't get one have not set up their email to allow mail from pilot credentials. I actually had to go in and add them to my accept list because the emails kept getting bounced to my bulk file.

Please check all sections of your profile for accuracy." That message has been there since the first day I filled out the app. Anyone else see that one as well on the Profile Summary Page?
Is there anyone here who doesn't have that message? I think that too is just a reminder to check everything for accuracy.

[QUOTE=rk772;960164]I think it was just a friendly reminder to check everything before the app window closes. Maybe some of the folks who didn't get one have not set up their email to allow mail from pilot credentials. I actually had to go in and add them to my accept list because the emails kept getting bounced to my bulk file.

I wondered that too but then realized that I had received an e-mail from them when I had asked a question about the app. I received their response with no problem.

Sorry, I don't mean to get bent around the axle about the e-mail, just have been applying at FedEx for the better part of 12 years and am starting to wonder if I will ever be lucky enough to get an interview.

Just to clarify something, according to KD, who I spoke with at the WAI conference, you WILL still be able to access your profile and update it after the window closes. The only thing you won't be able to do is start a new profile.

If anyone knows differently, please advise!

This is all a WAG so if you don't like WAGs skip this post.

Got the email - had gaps - put in 'unemployed' for those gaps. No more red 'gaps detected messages'...wondering if those 'gaps detected' messages were there the first time around as I don't recall seeing them. Possibly they added some code to the site which checked for date continuity and the email reflects that your profile triggered something on the server which was a question mark, however without a visual indicator of what that trigger is, you could log in and see everything looking status quo. I'm also not saying that the question mark, if you have one, is a deal breaker. That language in the latest email was just another, "we reserve the right to disqualify anyone we please" more of 'crazy legal department' add on.

To assume that if you did not get an email, you are not being considered does not make any sense. Your app getting selected for an interview is most likely based on a scoring policy giving everything in your background weight and merit. Those apps will in all likelihood already have a score, but why start pulling any of them until the Window is closed and Rack-n-Stack is complete.

I most curious about how far back of employment history I should have included. I don't have addresses and dates for some jobs back in college and high school, let alone remember all of them...

I only went back 10 years (basically all my flying jobs). What is everyone else doing?

I'm in the same boat, I have no idea the dates/addresses of every single place I have ever worked in my life.

Default Unemployment gaps red message

I have about four of these unemployment red message gaps on my employment page. I don't have any real gaps of unemployment where it says there are gaps. I, like most people, have had many times where I have had more than one job at any given point to pay for flight training, to live, etc. And I am guessing that because some of these jobs are placed right next to another job that isn't matching up perfectly that is why I am getting this red message. But, if it just looks below that job to the next entry it would see that there is no gap. Does anyone know if this is a deal breaker? Will my ap get kicked out if it has these red messages? I have a green check for employment history on the front page. Am I shooting myself in the foot because I am trying to list every place I have worked, no matter how short? If these were not in there I wouldn't be getting these messages. I have sent an email to pilot credentials to see if it matters. But, I would love to find out what anyone else might know.... thanks

Please let us know what you hear. I think this system has a few quirks...
