I think you guys are on the right track with the 4a2b thing, but riddle this into your equation....

It says 85% have to be within 13, 95% 15 hrs. Now if you look at the 777 bid pack, they have less than 400 pilots, do you think they are flying more than 15% of our flying? I think the 777 fits in the loop hole with no penalty iaw the SAM stuff. Then they can use the +/- with the rest of the fleet.

This is our next contract! I wanted 4a2b fixed....this isn't a fix.

You say you recognize a gain when you see it. Well, it's not going to be a gain for those with 50hr lines, on and off, for the next 3-5 years.

Where did I come up with 3-5 years? The block 2 reps letter, that tells us the NMB thinks we should negotiate for 1-2 years and be in mediation for another 1-3, before being released.

I'm willing to risk the time value ($200/yr) of my 3% and send this farce back to the negotiating table. And, tell the company if they want to open CGN under the RLA and not have another fiasco opening the MD11 HKG...Then fix OUR issues.
I think we are more in agreement than disagreement on 4a2b.

Vote in the TA or not, it's going to take 2 to 4 years to obtain the REAL fix for 4a2b. In the mean time I would like a partial fix. The NC says they still want to fix it but could not for this TA.

Copy all on the CGN thing. I can understand those who are all out of giving when it's a one way street. They want us to forget the beatings we took in the very recent past.
