There's more to TC's story

That is arguably true, it maybe better than waht an arbitrator might award. Or it could be exactly what the arbitrator did award based on the weak language in 4A2B. Now is our opportunity to add clarity to that clause that notionally was crafted to protect the company and our junior crew members.

777 --BLGs of 100hrs
MD11 BLGs of 63hrs
A300 BLGs of 50hrs.
You call that a "fix"?
Of course the SAM, might bring up the low paying lines to 57, or so.

Well, well.
I thought it was great of TC to write down his opinions. But he does mislead a little on 4a2b. Per the TA, the 777 is covered starting Jan 2012.
Do you really want to go back to 4a2b like we had before the arbitration award? That's exactly what we'll have starting Jan 2012 without the TA. No percentages to maintain. No inclusion of secondary lines.
I'm not particularly pleased but I recognize a gain when I see it. This is not an easy gain to achieve because the company doesn't want it fixed. They must place a high value on flexibility for the training department. The CBA 2006 guys sidestepped it entirely.

Well, well...OK, after Jan 2012:
The 4A2b fix(?) in this TA would allow:
MD11 HKG -- BLGs of 110hrs
A300 HKG --- BLGs of 110hrs
B757 CGN --- BLGs of 110hrs
MD11 LAX --- BLGs of 72hrs
MD11 MEM -- BLGs of 61hrs
A300 MEM -- BLGs of 48hrs
B727 MEM -- BLGs of 48hrs
You call that a "fix"?

You say you recognize a gain when you see it. Well, it's not going to be a gain for those with 50hr lines, on and off, for the next 3-5 years.
Where did I come up with 3-5 years? The block 2 reps letter, that tells us the NMB thinks we should negotiate for 1-2 years and be in mediation for another 1-3, before being released.
I'm willing to risk the time value ($200/yr) of my 3% and send this farce back to the negotiating table. And, tell the company if they want to open CGN under the RLA and not have another fiasco opening the MD11 HKG...Then fix OUR issues.
