But that one was a UPS thread!

Can anyone share more advice on how to study and prep for the testing? I have done searches with nothing really conclusive. I have an AFOQT study guide that has been recommended, but what else can I study (if anything) aside from a physics book? Waiting by the phone...

Would also love to hear some info from any new hires!

When you pick your assignements in new hire class, in what manner do you choose? By the oldest person, the start of your last 4 Social from 0-9, random drawing? Wondering if these Hong Kong newbies were fighting to get those slots.

It used to be the person with the highest last four ssn was the most senior. Nobody is forced to an overseas domicile.

Class seniority is determined by your last four with 9 being the high number and 0 being low. For example, if your social ends with 9999 you will be issued a seniority number first. If you social ends with 0000, you will be last.

Seat choice is done by class seniority. I doubt that the HGK newhires had to fight for the slots.

So, looks like some poolies dried off and came to the line. When's the next class? Composition all poolies?

I heard a rumor that when the Company brought the poolies back for the "no harm sim", a few of them were "harmed"?

Anyone know whether this is true?

We heard the rumor of the sim not being a jeopardy event for the poolies, but I would imagine we all took it as seriously as if it was a checkride. I never heard about anyone not making it because of the sim. I thought we all had... what a real bummer.

Next class is 21 March. 10 happy poolies joining!

Then a class of 20 sometime in mid April (although I heard that here on APC)
