I agree with Goose. I think you "guys" are over thinking EVERY question. I understand that this is important and you want to get it "right." But ... it's just not that hard. Figure out your times (honestly) and fill in the boxes. As long as you can defend what you did and why at the interview.
It has been stated here several times ... If you get called for the interview, FedEx wants to hire you (unless you goon-up the interview).
Good luck ... Mark

The following is coppied directly from the application. It uses the King Air as an example. I listed all my King Air time.
The 12.5K GW requirement applies for any aircraft type which has at least one model in the aircraft line above 12.5K GW. For example, flight hours in a King Air 90 which has a GW of 9K would count because the King Air also has versions (King Air 200 and above) that have max GW above 12.5K.

How about this...
"Do you have a commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-engine and Instrument rating (without limitations)? Yes No
Do you have a current ATP Certificate? Yes No"
I have commercial privileges, single engine land, on an ATP Multi Engine land.
How would you answer that?
AND, does "circling VMC only" count as a "limitation"?!

Also, how does a woman answer the selective service question? Do I need a status letter stating I'm exempt because I'm not a man?! I know it's semantics, but seriously...

Short Bus Drive,
I just looked at my ATP certificate and it says the following:
Airline Transport Pilot
Airplane Multiengine Land
MD-11
Commercial Privileges
Airplane Single Engine Land
Limitations
MD-11 Circ. Apch - VMC Only.
This was the certificate I used when I flew as an MD-11 Captain for FedEx. Hope it helps you figure it all out.

Sorry for the Noob question - this is my first app!
I noticed they have different fields for PIC and Instructor. Do I put my Total PIC time (including instructor) and then again put instructor time, or does their system automatically add instructor to PIC to get total PIC?? There aren't any instructions, and I didn't see a "total time" block to make sure the numbers were adding up correctly. Is it common for companies to seperate the two?
Thanks!

Right above the table that you add your hours onto is a small paragraph that says "Instructor Time while included in your PIC total is broken out further on this form". I read this (and I had my wife read it as well so it has to be right) to mean that you add your PIC and IP time together in the PIC hours column, and then you put your IP time in the Instructor hours column to break out your IP time. The mins to apply specifically state PIC time requirements, so I suppose it makes sense to add it to the PIC column. When I applied at Delta last Summer they did not want IP time included in your PIC total time, so it appears that every company has their own way they want it. I've read on here several times and told by many to be able to support what you put on your application so there are no unfortunate surprises in your interview. As long as you don't stretch the truth or flat out lie about your hours you'll have nothing to be concerned about. That's my $.02 and I only speak as someone who is applying along with everyone else. Good luck!
