One man's look into the chipped, cracked and hazy crystal ball shows that 30 internals + Poolies + balance of first 200 hires go to panel and are seat-locked for a couple years. Receive passover as applicable for subsequent FDA / system bids and right seat hiring to 72 & 75. A few seniors continue to trickle to the panel. Stabilizes back seat for wind down of 72 fleet over next few years.
Just for clarification, pilots on the seniority list (even new hires) will not be seat locked as 727 S/O. There is no seat lock for an upgrade. Since every seat is an upgrade from 727 S/O that provision does not apply. Now if the company direct hires into 727 or 757 FO without the posting of a vacancy bid for those seats first .... THEN Passover implications apply.
But I would think that flight management has learned from the last time they tried that debacle. But that is just my OPINION.

I had a squadron mate do this at NWA and they caught it during his interview. SHOW stopper and they straight up told him he was out for this honesty failure. His dad was a 747 Captain with them. SO, good advice to not try, hoping they wont catch it.

How do the various domiciles go in terms of seniority? I may have missed that....
I'll look again.
I understand that there are MEM, LAX, HKG and ANC.
The latter two are less interesting to me but are hardly showstoppers.
As to the panel being thought of as a negative, I think a lot of folks just don't understand it, myself included. I've only ever jumpseated on a plane with an F/E one time.
It just hasn't been a part of my world of aviation really ever. Nothing against it. But a lot of folks have to wrap their minds around it and I'm one of them. I'll be doing a bit of research this evening on how to get the written!

I'm betting EVERY other applicant brings a copy of his FAA Exam Results to their interview? What will you bring? A note from your mommy saying that you passed?

My point was to bring the TEST with me when/if called for the interview. I guess i didn't make my point. If I apply on JAN 15, and indicate that I have the written, but take it on JAN 25th (due to working and unable to take the test sooner) will that be OK. Of course I would never show up for the interview without the Test. I just want to be able to apply as soon as the window opens and not wait until I get back to the US.

Forgive my purple ignorance, asking for a friend:
Just curious, have the demographically gifted ever been hired without Turbine PIC time? Say female, master's degree, internal recs, 3500 RJ SIC?
If new hires go to HKG are they paid more, or is it the Y1 pay + Intl Override + living allowance? $69 an hour doesn't go very far over there.
