Definitely wear the stupid 777 lanyard. Looks sharp.
I've also never understood why Fedex people say "The Boeing"?
We have MD-10s, 757s, and 727's all made by the same outfit?
I've heard the 777 was made by the same sweatshop, though not 100$ sure on that.
Hey fellas, did you drive The Car on the way to work today??
I just don't get this place.

Back to headsets...
I bought my Bose X when I got to the right seat of THE Boeing and thought I would sell it when I came to THE ONE AND ONLY Bus almost 5 years ago... still wearing it and still loving it. It is a good investment to protect THE hearing.

Are you one of those pesky people in "THE BUS" that unplugs the company headsets and wraps them into a tangled ball?

Thanks.

No, I leave both ear cups on all the time… with the separate volume controls, I crank up ATC in the ear facing away from the other pilot. I turn the other ear cup all the way down. It does not affect the ANR, just the radio volume.

Been using a Telex Ascend in the MD11 for several months, really like them; light weight, don't take up much room in my bag, and comes with a module to swap out the boom mike so you can listen to your iPod or watch movies with the active noise canceling on long dead-head leg.
