Default Wedding Ring too big (Fedex)

Oh boy, I've heard it all now!

Instead of an engineering mod to the MD-11/MD-10 fleet, how about taking the D### thing off!

Hilarious!

Just another reason why I never really read those things anymore! I'm with you on this one, just take the thing off!

Hey fellas, how about some insight? Obviously someones ring got in the way of something. Inquiring minds want to know.

Discuss.

Getting married is a 3-ring circus ...

First comes the engagement ring ..

Then comes the wedding ring ...

Last comes the suffering ...

Somebody put in a report that their wedding ring jammed the tiller as they were taxiing an MD-11 knockoff. Mx came out after block in, measured the clearance and found it within tolerence. Safety reported that these "older" planes sometimes had issues with the plastic sidewall or something like that.
Discussion is related to the pilot's effective judgement in wearing bling on his finger, I think.

The Navy guys are gonna have a s#*! fit if they have to take that shiny ring off to land. Clearly you've never been to Singapore!

What's truly amazing is how diplomatic the response was. Some of these goofs who write some of this stuff up need to be told they're being stupid and wasting many people's time, plain and simple. Like the guy who wrote up the fact that his cell phone rang during taxi out, he didn't know what it was for a while and then turned it off when figured it out. Then goes on to recommend a change to the before start checklist to included cell phones off - check.

Where do we get these guys?
