I agree that 20% is sufficient to show it's not impossible for a civilian to get hired, just a little more difficult. As far as hiring data...you are the one that posted the 50/50 statistic; I guessed you either researched it or pulled it out of your backside. I simply pointed out that I doubt that number is accurate.
If you think FDX has a military hiring slant you should see the points vets get from the federal goobberment or walmart.

I actually said "less than 20%" and my class was just that...17.02% to be exact. And I don't "think" FedEx has a military hiring slant, they unequivocally do (at least since August 2004). Not saying that's good or bad, just a simple fact.

The more I think about how things go....don't be surprised if you read an fcif like this on Monday - "Until further notice all jewelry is banned while operating the aircraft. The wearing of jewelry will be added to the Blue Threat curriculum as an additional 15 minute course called "The Gold Threat"."
