Sure what you got to say about it?

I never got to fly the snakes, I bet they were a kick in the pants too, the front seat controls looked interesting.
Dosbo,
The front seat controls have a 4/1 advantage over the back seat, but the AC is always in the back.....go figure.

I know the HYDRA system is great, but 2.75" FFAR with nails on Ripple was where it was at, back in the day......
Just sayin'

A big impetus for the Crusades was that there were a lot of young, single knights in Europe, with no land and no money, and with weapons and a lot of energy.
One volunteer showed up with nothing but a lance and a flea-bitten mastiff.
The king said: "No way. I wouldn't send a knight out on a dog like this."

The religious/political leaders of the time didn't want them raping and pillaging in Europe, so they send them on the Crusades to give them something to do, and so they wouldn't raise hell at "home".

Did you mean Europe, or did you mean Los Angeles? Sorry, I keep returning to your post, and it continues to make me laugh. Thanks.

The UAE states that it was not a bomb however it is being revisited. A device of the types found could have had a low order detonation and started a very intense fire quickly without the normal signs of a bomb. I never stated it was a bomb only that it should certainly be considered. Others now seem to feel the same.
High explosives burn quite readily and with much gusto, when you fail to detonate them properly, tough to extinguish since the fuel and oxidizer are self contained. I am sure this possibility is being investigated.

I do like the rockets, although nails are back in the inventory I haven't had the chance to use them yet, I like singles and multiple trigger pulls until I'm happy . The 30MM chain gun is nice too, missiles are just so anti-climatic when shot.

I just unretired from the guard this spring and started flying helicopters again after about 5 years out. Freshly completed the "D" model course a couple of months ago, nice upgrade to the crew/aircraft interface but added enough weight to make a good flying aircraft a fat pig. Go figure.

<The official also said Tuesday that each bomb was attached to a syringe containing lead azide, a chemical initiator that would have detonated PETN explosives packed into each computer printer toner cartridge. Both PETN and a syringe were used in the failed Christmas Day bombing of a Detroit-bound airliner linked to an al-Qaida branch in Yemen. A law enforcement official told NBC News on Wednesday that it wasn't clear how the liquid was to be forced out of the syringes to ignite an explosion.

Interesting that this has been known to start a fire rather than a detonation in prior attempts.

If you think about it, it is one hell of a coincidence....
