UPS Veep on Pilot Hiring
"Based on the information available today, the total number of cremembers on the seniority list should increase from 2,740 in January 2006 to approximately 2,940 by the end of this year. Further, the total number of crewmembers should exceed 3,100 by the end of 2007. These numbers would reflect total hiring of approximately 200 crewmembers during calendar year 2006 and approximately 160 during calendar year 2007.
It is critical to remember we are operating in a dynamic and fluid environment. The factors driving the marketplace often change on a dialy basis and include volume levels, fuel price, and routing changes.
