Default Thanks to all the well-wishers!

Thanks Gents!
Got my package on the way back to MEM today! And now more waiting, but with greater anticipation.
Hope to see you all soon.
Enjoy!

Thanks for the encouragement guys. I'll call tomorrow. Hope to see you all on the line soon somewhere in the EMEA (is that how you describe the new domicile?)

Sorry to hear about your fellow pilots on the other thread. Life is indeed precious. Best wishes to them.

Congratulations guys !! This is great news for you. I was in the pool for a very short period of time over at Brown and it was nerve-wracking not knowing when the call would come....hoping it would come. Now, I am sitting here frustrated at the direction that the mental midgets of this company have decided to take, and dealing with my furlough here.....I am genuinely happy for you guys, it's nice to see some positive news on the cargo boards once again amongst all the negativity going on....good luck to you all......life is too short....enjoy, hopefully it's a good long ride...

Got the packet too like the rest of the poolies! Phew! I was nervous there for a while.

Just got the call from the people who bought our old home last year and they received it. Which is strange, since I had updated my address on the profile website. Anyways, good luck to everyone in the pool. Hopefully we can increase the seniority of the 4519 guys/gals on property

What are you going to do? Take out some of the old farts?

Just kidding. Hope you all make it here, soon. It'll be weird hearing the old "I'm just happy to be here" mantra again. But, please don't say it when you're called to participate in one of the upcoming ALPA events.

Rumor is Corp pilots were told they were going to the line in Jan. Pros have been told nothing. There are only about 20-25 metering pros in line to go. No where near 50. Maybe with corp pilots and pros but by my figures, about 35-40 total.

Does anybody have an idea of when poolies will get classes? If we do get the 727 panel how long do you think we will be on it? What is quality of life like on reserve at the bottom? I recall seeing some lines with 10+ R days in a row, is this typical? If hiring does pick, how many do you think they will bring on?

Thanks

Most likely into 727 SO due to recent posting of upgrades and those leaving the seat. How long in the Engineer seat is a huge guess but I doubt it will be the 4-5 years that the current engineers have endured. Ten R days is not common except for those who bid the South America 727 lines. Lately the ability to move R days is very flexible and 4-5 days is more common when on reserve. The ability to drop those R days is also available building up your make up bank that u can use to pick up trips in open time.
