Actually, it was earlier this year. Feb IIRC. And it's not $500. That's only for us pilots, as spelled out in the CBA. The rest of the company gives 100% match for the 1st 1% of salary, and 50% match on the next 5% of salary. So if an employee takes out at least 6% of their salary, the company kicks in 3.5%. It doesn't get above $500 until the employee has earned more than $14285 for the year. Obviously, if you make a lot, the match can be fairly big. My SO's match for last year (if the company hadn't cancelled it,) would have been over $1500.
Isn't your SO considered a pilot and therefore limited to $500 max??

I have a great memory....it's just real short. OK, earlier this year. Anyway, FedEx is denying the CBS Sports story. Got a bunch of bad press on PTI tonite. "They deny it but if it's true........" then a whole bunch of ranting from Kornheiser and Wilbon. PR nightmare if it's true or not.
