Default FDX 75 to Europe.

Looks like this is gonna happen sooner than later. My question is why?
-bus is not hacking it because,,,?? loads?.. reliability.? too many over 60 in the bidpack.??

I think the plan is to keep some of the buses there with SIBA for a while. The 75 will mostly be used for smaller markets and opening new ones. But what do I know, I'm just a line pilot

Thoughts on when we might see a bid for 757 Cologne? I would guess that we won't try to negotiate a new LOA rather just wrap the whole thing into contract negotiations? Any ideas, rumors or gouge?

I think you'd want to negotiate outside of the contract negotiations so that there is no quid pro quo on the LOA!

Please refer to the Positive Rate Weekly Edition - 25 May 2010

This issue is specifically addressed.

If you didn't receive this Positive Rate by email, you can read a copy of it on the FedEx ALPA web site - Home Page - scroll down to the Message Line section - page 3 of that section has the 25 May 2010 edition.

...or....click this link Positive Rate ~ Weekly and login w/your ALPA login

Also, if you didn't/don't receive the Positive Rate by email - make sure you update your email address on the FedEx ALPA web site as well.

We have been told here in MX in EMEA that the 757 will replace the A310-200/300's currently in Europe, so we will have a mix of 757/A300 flying. There are two 757 systems classes for MX in CDG this month (one just finished and another starting tomorrow, plus two in September, possibly in BUD & CGN.

757 is on July's BCN carryover lines. And, I hear BSL and BUD for Sept.
