Results:

Unity Fund
(Health Insurance support to the upcoming furloughs)

YES 73% of total votes cast
NO 27% of total votes cast



FQS (Flight Qualified Supervisors)
-Giving them date of hire

YES 89% of total votes cast
NO 11% of total votes cast

I can't believe that ANYONE would vote no for supporting furloughs with their health insurance costs.

Maybe we really do need universal health care after all.

Sounds like in most cases it had to deal with the way the program was structured (open ended with no controls, only "trust us"), and the associated dues increase. the increase wasn't associated with the cobra, but a 100% increase to cover negotiations.

I agree, I too didn't like the openended nature of the program. I guess the pros outweighed the cons for 75% of us.

At least no one should buy the companies line anymore that date of hire is just a trick, something that the rank and file doesn't approve of. I'm sure that they'll come up with some other way to spin this, but that's all it will be, spin
