MD11 Capt 3 years

Now, I've been bumped out of the MD11.....here's the data on how 4.a.2.b. has stuck it to some of us. In my case:

2004 - B727 Capt - $175,000
2005 - B727 Capt - $207,000
2006 - MD11 Capt - $257,000
2007 - MD11 Capt - $244,000
2008 - MD11 Capt - 249,000

And, under 4.a.2.b. this year is shaping up to be $181,000.

That's a reserve B757 Capt that does ZERO carryover/make-up. I am interested to know what impact this "stealing" has had on others.

It's time for the company to do the right thing and exit 4.a.2.b. Some of us have taken a HUGE hit. I for one understand more than ever what being "junior" on an airplane means and I will NEVER do it again. Right seat wide-body here I come.
Your data is faulty.

2009 was our 4.A.2.b year and you don't have that data listed.

Get real people. Everyone here has access to our pay rates and has a general idea of what FedEx guys make. Not to mention the fact that most would love the job.
So posting the dollar figures versus a percent pay loss is absolutely the same thing.
The fact that pilots are on the street sucks but isn't any more or less relevant than this guy posting the facts regarding 4A2B.
FedEx used this clause to take from our pilots. I'm more than glad that we didn't furlough but this money grab by the company has cost every one of us a lot. FedEx wasn't in a position to furlough.

No, we all have our 2009 data, which he didn't post. He said THIS year is shaping up to be, which means 2010. He left out a full year that would have told exactly how 4.A.2.b affected him.

For instance, 2008 approached 254 for me, but 2009 took me back to 224. I can't safely predict this year, as the hours have been improving, but I'm not going to count on that.

Seems to me that anyone who works for our illustrious company knows very well that their paycheck is way lower due to 4a2b (unless of course you happen to be a dp or draft flying *****) so what's the point in trying to rally on a public forum?? Anyone can look up our payscales but cmon homie have a little class. You sound like you got furloghed from delta a ways back....

Now you pay into VEBA to buy old SOs diapers so they can nap on SIBA trips. Didn't have that cost back then either.

And how about that substandard FDA LOA so we could work a great 777 rate??

Did you bring your lunch, or walk to school?

Care to explain your theory on those two gems?
