Mexico Safety ???
Mexico Under Siege: Monterrey hotel attack - latimes.com
CLICK on the above, should be especially interesting to anyone flying to MEXICO on layovers.
My Q is why there has not been more coverage on this activity in Mexico ?
I would submit CAUTION to anyone who goes down there.
I know for a fact that the Border towns are especially hard hit from this activity but of lesser known fact, is that the INTERIOR of MEXICO is also under siege ............................................. it is not getting the press that it deserves, for sure.

Slightly different note on Mexico safety...
Anyone have scuttlebut on Mexican cargo airplane crashing at Monterey this week? Rumor is 3 pilots, 2 other crew and 1 person on ground perished.
Just thought somebody might know about this?

I live in Austin and commute to Memphis for work. That said, the inbound UPS flight (5X #301) to AUS arrives from MMMY and I've chatted recently with their crews. They seem to have no problems with lack of security.
