Default Iceland Volcano and Trip Revisions

What is going on with all this chaos about the Volcano in Iceland and the trip pairings ? Have not heard or seen anything anywhere. How many crews stuck over there ? How is the company coping with all of this ? Operational Emergencies ? What say you ???

That's great, it starts with an earthquake, birds and snakes,
an aeroplane - Lenny Bruce is not afraid.

Yes...trip revisions are daily waiting out to see how things are going to turn out. Pretty soon the trip revision will hit double digits but no one here is complaining since we get to go to the bar tonight.

Same here in DXB. We're just waiting to see what they are going to do with us. We've been revised several times and I suspect there will be several more. I don't think that GOCC knows exactly what the plan is because the volcano keeps spewing and the airspace in europe keeps shutting down. Besides, who wants to fly into that ash anyway

Isn't Iceland the place the global warming conference was?

I imagine the leftists will hail the volcano for grounding all the flights and limiting carbon emissions.....snicker snicker.....

If Cap and Trade is passed.....will the President go after the crater and fine it for all the global warming emissions?

If so, will it be described as " 'O' versus the Volcano"??????

Doesn't SIBA switch crews over the weekend? Was at JFK this week, European airline planes parked in every corner of the airport ...

Hopefully, no one deviated early on the back end.

I wonder if folks can book a trip on a ship to get home.
