That stinks getting excessed. You need to buy a pair of cowboy boots to make up for the missing stripe.

Oh geeze, that's something that he'd never live down.

In reality, it has worked out pretty well. I have tasted good seniority for the first time and have acquired a preference for it. It probably will end up adding years to my life......which is nice.

If this is the worst professional setback I ever experience.....I will not cry in my coffee too hard....

In reality, I was just poking fun .... I am sure someone said..."You need a hat for the picture....put this on".....I don't think it was a deliberate move and it's not like he claimed to work for FDNY!

Did that last November LJ....at the end of my IOE I went into Ops and asked for some F/O epaulets.......they said that'll be $10.50 please.........(start the clown music). Liking this super seniority actually......making more per day as a flying F/O then I did as a reserve Capt under 4a2b.........funny how that is......

Anyone know the specifics when the training is to begin for the 777 and 757 from bid 10-01? IIRC the FCIF only said sometime in May.

There were no slots for the 777 on 10-01, as for the 757 seats, they will be probably ALL be in the school house by the end of June as many of the awarded seats went to people already activated in that seat as well as your standard group of FLEX/LCA's etc., so not all 24CA and 26 FO's even require training.

As for the 727 FO seats...time will tell, conventional logic would have most asking "why fill any seats in an aircraft still way below 68 hours average BLG?". The loss of 13 pilots from that aircraft to the 757 should be a good thing and help raise the BLG's in the 727....mangler's at work..CAUTION...

BUV changes the game.

If they let the 727 FO line average rise the SO seat goes further in the hole and mucho buyup is paid.

I'm figuring the 757 FO seat average will drop as they pull their heads out.
