FDX-My dog said to bid HKG...
...but I'm not going without him! I've been doing some research online about quarantines and how to get a pet into the country. The two sites I have looked at are:
Pets Quaranteen Hong Kong, Hong Kong Animal Pet Immigration - Allo' Expat Hong Kong
and
Pet Immigration Rules Hong Kong - Pet Passport Hong Kong
It looks like the USA and Hong Kong are both considered Third Countries for pet immigration. I read this to mean that there is NO quarantine provided certain provisions are met concerning paperwork and the pet's history, age, etc.
Any info from HKG dudes that have pulled this off would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Now if I can only convince the fiancee...

One day you'll come home and your neighbors will be picking their teeth and saying, "Next time you get bigger dog, we have family coming to visit."

What you didn't get the FCIF? Bids already out dude.
And for the rest of you thanks for the useful information, I didn't expect anything less out of you clowns.
Here's one, the Chinese eat everything with 4 legs except for tables and chairs.
But seriously, there's gotta be a HKG guy who has brought in a pet or at least knows someone who has tried.
