UPS Interview Gouge

Facts tend to make the "Geoffrys" of the world scuttle for cover like cockroaches under a strong light.
Hiring will take place regardless of the T/A and any rumors that the T/A passage is required to be voted in for more hiring is just illogical. We are going to have some guys in the back seat pull the pin as soon as a new contract is in place, that may open another fifty or so slots.

Stuff
Geoff is just another tired worn out Coast Guard Herk pilot who should go back to flying Herks for the Coasties and let his hemrhoids flare once again. He might find he can fly those easier than the MD11. Oh, and he is not a management pogue. Unless he jumped ship in the last several months and the IPA folks forgot to remove his name.

Source? It's not on any UPS or other site I can find. Link?
The SIMs have been planned for a while, but if they are going to hire 150 before the end of this year, they had best get it in gear shortly.
More rumors from your buddy?

Brownie...
It may be a contract ratification ploy (and probably is) but the CP hotline announced 150 hires in 2006 and at least 150 for 2007. He says that is not counting 2nd officer attrition from retirements after the agreement.
Next in line will be a nice vacancy bid, timed for sometime in SEP I predict. That will soften up a group and put dollar $ign$ in their eyes.
