The commodore 64 is cranking them out as we type. The Software update in 1989 allows them to crunch up to 3 a day. Expect yours around Jan 31 when the law requires. See multiple Jan 2009 posts for confirmation.

Things have gotten so bad, guys on long term disability are making more than the guys flying the line!! Me...I'd pay 100,000 won to watch MM and JJ thumb wrestle to the death. Loser buys the beer. (note: since the loser will be dead, we'll have to check his wallet before the event. And....since they're both Captain's, they'll probably only have $2)

I went out as a S/O, not a Captain, so you can be sure I've got more than a buck or two in my wallet. And truth be told, I probably do make more than some guys flying the line. That was one of the considerations I had to think about when I decided not to return to fly. Luckily (for me), when they compute your long term disability, they go back 36 months to find your high 12 months, and you're paid 60% of that average. So for me, it was as a MD-11 captain. I didn't realize that was how they did it, until I received my first check, which is paid only once a month, at the end of the month. It was quite a pleasant surprise.
