Hence, the company has even less impetus to restore our Min BLG. Fattening the bottom line seems to be the only thing the corporation is good at anymore. Lots of disgruntled folks walking around, and they are not all pilots.
I think everyone is talking apples and oranges...Plus there are a few passion fruits!! I believe that ALPA's numbers are probably the difference between min BLG 68/85 and actual 4A2b BLGs. Whatever you made in prior years above min BLG is irrelevant...Because it's not contractual.

Based on what my actual BLGs have been, compared to the CBAs min BLG of 68/85...I'm down $19,000 for 2009.

I figure that's what they owe me, plus $1330 for my B-plan.

At least one of the block reps who is an F/O isn't being hurt too bad by 4a2b. Averaging almost 100 hours per month for the last 4 months with 2 vacation periods.

At least he is getting widebody captain passover though, that makes it even better.

Just curious...

When is the arbitrator projected to make a decision on the legality/or not of 4a2b?

If the arbitrator decides in favor of the pilots, will you guys get back-pay for the last 6(?) months you've been under 4a2b?

We don't know when the arbitrator will decide. He may call in both parties to ask for more info. When he does, who knows if he will direct back-pay if he decides in ALPA's favor?

BTW - With us already bidding for Feb 2010, it's been 13 months.

Holy Crap, are you kidding me?! Is he flying DP's or lines from the bid pack? Go crawl back under your rock and stop puling about what some other guy's getting...

Kind of like your puling about WR and ALPA national. This rock is getting crowded.

Ahhh, touche! The difference, to me at least, is in one case the puling is about someone getting what they are entitled to and in the other someone getting something they were not entitled to (or qualified or deserving or pick your adjective here). More specifically, if he weren't good enough to be elected on a local level by those who know him, he probably shouldn't have been picked to serve on a national level.

When someone cries about how much another is making here, it rings of envy. As long as he's coloring within the lines, it's no business of anybody how much he makes. It does bother me when poor performance is rewarded with promotion, though.
