FDX - My 4a2b numbers
#11
I seem to remember, they took a 5CH (or was it 5%?) pay reduction back when we were on the verge of bankruptcy .
Would be interested to know if that reduction was reinstated with the rest of the company's - while the rest of us continue to have the 4.A.2.b. scam jammed down our throats.
Does anyone know if they got their 5CH (5%?) back yet?

...blah...blah...we're all in this together...blah...blah...4.A.2.b. $$$ grabs are the company's negotiated right under the agreement....blah....blah....blah....I believe our 4.A.2.b. implementation strategy is sound......blah....blah....blah....BLG reductions are about the same pay cut all the non-pilot groups are taking.....(all that was paraphrased not quoting verbatim)
"...Management pilots will see a pay cut with 4.A.2.b implementation..." - that is a direct quote.
I seem to remember additional information indicating their pay cut would be 5CH or 5% - but don't quote me on that.
Question is, have they been restored to the pre-4.A.2.b. pay guarantees?
side note: this entire O'-Gram is worth going back and reading after 1 year's worth of water under the bridge. Very enlightening what areas are emphasized (DC-10 bidpacks, each sides "rights" under the agreement, SIG process and 'almost extinct' DPs, safety considerations in pairing construction, etc.)
if anyone may have deleted this one out of disdain and/or other ill feelings it generated, PM me and I'll send you a copy - I still have my copy.

Management is implementing their interpretation of 4A2b. We need to keep this in the forefront of our minds when we are asked to go the extra mile under what other sections of the CBA allows. "What is good for the goose............."

It's good to see that now that peak is over that MEM MD-11 Capt. 4.a.2.b line values are back down to 63:13 (RLG 60:45). Maybe I can drop a few R days and get my pay down to just 40 hours? That should help pay off all those Christmas bills and tuition payments!*?

Just seeing some of the numbers shown in this thread and hearing other people talk around the AOC, it seems like the union's numbers may be significantly low. Discounting the backwards movement by a large number of pilots, the impact of 4a2b alone might be quite a bit larger than the union estimates. Hence, the company has even less impetus to restore our Min BLG. Fattening the bottom line seems to be the only thing the corporation is good at anymore. Lots of disgruntled folks walking around, and they are not all pilots.
