Thanks Purple And Brown!
The holiday season always means family packages sent back and forth. And with my coffee shop going full swing, it also means business packages. I just want to take a moment to thank everyone from both FedEx and UPS for doing a great job getting stuff where they need to go. "Everyone" includes the guys/girls who show up at my door. Why, just the other day, a man in a brown outfit arrived with my new netbook, which I am using right now. As soon as he showed up, coffee shop psychology immediately came into play because a string of customers followed him into the door.
Lots of hard work behind the scenes, but know that customers really appreciate it. Thanks again and be safe out there.

Vags,
You're welcome ... despite all the b*tching that goes on here, most of us really do care if your stuff gets to it's destination on time. We work really hard (working REALLY bad hours, in some REALLY bad weather) to make the system work like "magic." It's an amazing operation, if you're ever in Memphis see if you can get the night sort "family" tour.
Regards ... Mark

One of these days, I'm going to get my husband to take me to Memphis for a visit. Do I need to know the secret password or handshake to get into this family tour? Or do I simply utter "TonyC" to the gate attendant? [For reasons that defy logic, I have always considered many of you my family. Whether you consider me your family is another story. bwahahahahahahaha].

Any of us purple folk should be able to call the hub tour people and tell them our "sister" is in town, and could she please get on the tour. The last time I called (to get my parents on the tour several years ago) I think all they asked for were names?

Thanks, Mark! I may well take you all up on that offer. You (and several others) know my first and last names. As long as I don't have to give a DNA sample to prove some familial connection, I should be ok.
Would this tour be during the wee hours of the morning?? I'd really like to see it, but I'm not exactly desperate to do so. Anyway, I wouldn't mind hoisting a box or two for reality sake.
