Merit Pay and 401K Update - An end to 4A2B?
#3
Well, if the company brings back pay and benefits for everyone else in the company, but leave pilots out in the cold, do you think that would motivate the crew force a bit? That should have the same result as the Red Letter, and then some. We'll see. BTW, 13 trips open in the MEM Airbus Capt tomorrow, including 3 airport standbys. May we live in interesting times.......

You're dreaming. No mention of unionized pilots being "restored". Then again, we're rarely mentioned in any communication/publication that is sent corporate wide. By the way, our mail usually comes on red paper.
They're just hoping to get through peak and it'll be this time next year before they entertain addressing 4.A.2.b. Right Orlando? Paul? Bueller? Anyone?

Once they figured out that we are nothing more than another cost center, and they could get thru peak with us in 4A2b, why would they do anything different. Can you make up with drf and vlt the next 2 months what you are going to lose in 4A2b the next 6-8 months?
