Default FDX -Secondary vs Regular disparity

I was looking at the LAX secondary line maximum range FCIF. The highest regular line in the bidpack for NOV for both Capt and F/O was 70:25. The average was 63:04. The secondary lines are going be built with a maximum of 73:00. Higher than the highest regular line and 10 hours (over 15%) higher than the average. Plus, the company get the bonus of not including any of the secondary lines should in the calculation of the R-Day value. The company seems to be implementing a "preferential bidding" within the guidelines of our contract. I am sure it is the same for other seats.

That max BLG for secondary lines is 13 CH > the lowest paying line, or at least that has been what the previous had been listed as.

I agree, the MAX numbers are a little alarming but they are just that, MAX value. As Fr8dog said...just take the lowest line value and add 13 CH (max split).

I'm feeling your frustration and don't like it any more than you do

Also,

Don't forget about the single departure lines that exceed the blg standards that are not available to be included on regular lines.

Do you have an example? In the MD-11 left seat, the low line is 60 and I see no trips (bidpack, revised or EXTRA) in OT greater than 73CHs!

just basing it off of the notification on vips on how the secondary lines priority will be established for being filled. It specifically says that those lines will be filled first.
