Reading the latest update from the scheduling committee, it becomes clear why the company thinks it can maintain such low levels of reserves. Make- up may be your right, but it is having an impact.

I really hope that hotel stby was assigned to some poor b@stard on reserve and not picked up out of open time. If not, we're worse off than I thought....

Check out 5053/18oct. Assigned to a reserve. Maybe some of the *****s draw the line at working for 3:59 per day at a high chance of getting abused.

If you are on the Bus on Reserve you can plan on being used about 80-90% of the time for the foreseeable future........

SIBA guys arent being touched leaving 3 or 4 available for reserve each day. Guys thinking their vacation will level them can forget about it. Soft R days are being moved around constantly to accomodate the poor manning situation. Not to mention blocks of R days being moved from A to B or vice versa.

Beatings will continue until morale improves.........

If they keep the reserve level this low, there may be an outbreak of insufficientreservenza.

I hear its worse than swine Flu.

68 hrs of leveling (Bus FO) gets me a hubturn to Buffalo tonight to finish the month with 74. RLG was 75. I'll be bidding VTOs now. At least I can trade/drop trips that way.

Max Levelling

Me, too CB... I actually dropped an R-day for mil, and my levelling finished off at 75 hrs. I was pleased to find that I do not get 150% of pay for going beyond my (Mil) adjusted RLG of 71 and change

. That only applies to going beyond the ACTUAL RLG for that fleet for that period... NICE!

Bus FO Draft call

Just called for MEM ASTBY tonight--it actually sat in Open Time for a long while without being scooped up. Guess some more folks "broke the code" that due to our absurdly low levels of Reserve lines, these are no longer a "good deal"--you WILL be used! But hey--we're overmanned, right? And no, I don't feel like flying draft right now--let's just say I'm SICK of 4a2b!

And don't you guys just love how they dont touch the SIBA guys that have about 10 hours or less of leveling??

They will sit a trip in open time all evening hoping someone will pick it up in make-up before they assign it to save a reserve.....
