UPS: Don't Fail Me Now!!

And are you roasting? Or sourcing your coffee somewhere you can reveal? I have been getting my green beans locally but I am probably going to start buying 25 lb bags from a green bean broker- just wondered who you would recommend. Hope opening day goes great!

No, nothing by the front door, but then it's only 7:29 am here in Seattle.
I may have to put up sign that says "Cash Only" right next to the Grand Opening banner.
I'm taking my husband to the hot springs spa near PDX. So maybe I'll find it when we get home tonight.
Cubdriver: I am using Lavazza beans, roasted in Turin, Italy. They are shipped over and sometimes held up at Customs. Every friend and family guinea pig has said it's nice, bold, strong, smooth and good.

Best wishes for a smooth opening and great success, Vagabond!
I loves Lavazza. Wish I had a cup of it right now! Just did a four block walkabout in downtown SEA looking for a good lunch. Every other store was a Starbucks! Creativity is not practiced in 'bucks land!

Well, we got home from soaking in the mineral hot springs and Brown did not stop by with the credit card machine. I'll just have to post a sign on Monday that it's Cash Only. Certainly not giving anything away, although the Lavazza rep will be there from 10 am to 11 am giving away samples of drip coffee.
I have received nothing but good wishes and encouragement from Freight Dog and HSLD, and everyone else on the forums. I am very grateful for the support and hope you will all drop by when you get a chance.
The address is 4823 S. 66th Street, Tacoma, WA 98409. Phone is 253-292-0236. If you Google it, it still shows the old restaurant, but I have since renovated it and named it after myself. It will be the only coffee shop in that area that serves Lavazza. For lunch, I'll be offering panini sandwiches. The important equipment (i.e., espresso machine and panini grill) were all manufactured in Italy. As mentioned, the Lavazza beans came over from Italy. Probably the only thing not Italian is me!
I also promised my husband that I will not be running a free legal clinic in the back room. It's going to be tough not to succumb to something that is encoded in my DNA, but I'll try my best. During down times, my barista will be cleaning and mopping floors, but I will check in here to see how everyone is doing.

JJ,
Your company makes mistakes just like any other. I had some wine shipped to my house. It was shipped FedEx. It was supposed to be signed for by someone that was 21. When I got home, there is my case of wine, sitting in front of the door, without a signature. There was a BIG sticker on top of the case that said "Signature needed" and it was bright yellow. I had another case that was shipped by UPS, and at least our guy did it correctly. So this "I hate to tell you that you should have shipped FedEx" attitude that you are spouting is a load of donkey dung!

We are so terribly sorry.
