Per the FCIF, Phil (727 Captain/SCA) was in a serious car accident today. For those of you who don't know, Phil is a magnificent guy and a tough old-codger. Please keep him in your prayers.

Huh. Just Checked my FCIFs and saw nothing about that. Hope it is not true. I flew with Phil a few times when I was a plumber on the 72. He is a no-nonsense old school kind of guy, but a pilot's pilot. Hope he is doing well.

Phil went very peacefully last night..
His Final Flight out of MEM to Tucson, where services will be held, will be Friday afternoon on a FedEx A300
