Say what???? Why would FedEx ask for an embargo on passes. If FedEx wants to stop using them all that needs to be done is to tell Global Travel to stop issuing them!

I heard the same thing by a guy who called WN directly because he had some unused passes.

Did anyone else notice our CEO is in the top 3 for security detail expenses?

I will say it again.

FedEx asked WN to suspend Non-Rev priveleges for employees company wide. The suspension of non rev priviledges wasn't initiated by WN. Pilots still have j/s priveleges. FedEx will review non-rev travel agreement with WN and make a decision at a later date.

Purple Promised?

I was stopped in the hotel lobby this morning by a SWA pilot (in gym clothes). He asked what happened? I told him I didn't know what he was talking about? He said he heard that we had lost our j/s privileges? I told him I'd heard about losing our pass privileges but that I had not heard about j/s's. He said maybe he heard it wrong?

Hope so ... that would be a really bad deal for us.

That's how FedEx works and how they deal with employees. One guy $hits his pants, we all get diapers.

He heard wrong. The embargo will affect non-pilot employees. Lately, I'm trading around trips like a Magic the Gathering card, so I rely on WN to get me to work when in a jam.

LMFAO @ the big diaper!
