FDX Reserve Leveling and Vacation
Well, surprise, surprise. I have vacation this month. When the bid award fell I got a VTO with a whopping 3 R days after my vacation days. I have not been leveled for my V days yet. Has something changed? I should be leveled for the V days right?

If your r-days are after your vacation(which I think is your case), you will get the leveling hours, but I think(not sure) that they don't show up until after you've "flown" your vacation days. If your r-days are before your vacation, you get the hours shown in your "accru RLG" column on your reserve leveling position, which, as near as I can tell, is pretty worthless.

VTO R-Days and Vac...NO Leveling and NO Love!
One does not get leveling if the r-days you receive come via VTO. The only leveling you receive would be with a true reserve "line" AND the r-days come after the vacation period. Those in the know bid vacation periods on the first two weeks of the month with this in mind. Yes, this is a hole in the contract and I have written my block rep to have it corrected on the next contract. Both of these have bitten me in the past.
