Really? Wow, another van driver told me we are buying all of FDX's MD11s!
She said it's pretty much a done deal but we're still looking for some additional aircrafts crew stairs... Apparently we found some that proved to be way too stable so we're still looking for the 'wobbly' kind...
PS. My van driver grew up in the Appalachian Mountains and she can beat up your van driver! LOL

Not even sure my van driver was a woman!!
Also heard that UPS is selling most of its "package delivery devices" to the USPS (since they are going to a 3 day delivery schedule to save money they will need bigger trucks).
FDX was going to buy our ramp space in CGN as well (makes sense right because they are getting our 757's!!!)
This was confirmed by a highly placed Manager

I bet you the compromise will be to allow the Mexican trucks to transport illegal aliens into the US while we tranport the remittance payments (millions of $$$) into Mexico...
OK, maybe I'm a little harsh here... I don't mind the program per se as long as their trucks go through the very same inspections as ours do and their drivers have similar training as ours.. Of course, if they get our markets we need to get theirs too...
Based on a program I saw on MSNBC (yes, I watch the enemy news too
) there's no similarity between the inspections and the training at all...
