There is no way UPS is parking 75 airplanes after peek. The 767 is a replacement for the 757 but only 4 are coming this year and a total of 28 over the next 4 years.

I guess we will be flying a 76 to TYS, RSW, PBI, LFT, and so on. The 300 furlough number will seem like nothing if we park the 75's.

I heard that they are going to keep a few DC-8 available for peak thats why some have training dates on the bid next year. Last week they ran short of tails.

Run out of tails?!?!? Shocking

They can save all the tails they want, but none of the 8 guys are current and many have missed their SVT. They would have to use management guys.

Oh come on!!!! You people BELIEVE this?? The largest number of one aircraft type on property is the 757. Sure lets park all 75 of them. If you’re buying this BS, I have some gold that my dog dug up in my backyard. I sell it to you for half the current gold rate.

Also, we are only getting two 767’s this year and on 400 for a total of three this year. Five 767 are coming next year.

UPS has a reason already for more money. We fell $41 Million short on the MOU. I say UPS will be knocking on the IPA door in the fall.

HAHAHA this is better than watching the comedy channel.

Really? Wow, another van driver told me we are buying all of FDX's MD11s!

She said it's pretty much a done deal but we're still looking for some additional aircrafts crew stairs... Apparently we found some that proved to be way too stable so we're still looking for the 'wobbly' kind...

PS. My van driver grew up in the Appalachian Mountains and she can beat up your van driver! LOL

Oh hell, park everything except a handful of 767's and -400's, use the DC-8 engines to strap on the top of the new trucks from Mexico Obama is letting cross the border! We don't need no stinkin' airplanes or IPA crews! We can staff the 767's and -400's with our ACP's!

In all seriousness folks, the above idea is no more crazy than some of the rumors we see here on a daily basis.

I seldom defend Pelosistan fanatics but it was actually the Dems who blocked "the new trucks from Mexico to cross the border" and I seriously doubt they'll let them do it now...
