FDX- ANC Disputed Pairing...ughhhh.

As a MAD DOG guy in Mem, I'm here to tell you it's not ok to fly disputed PR's. I have called out a few guys on doing so and many guys have dropped them after being made aware that they were on a disputed pairing. The problem here is that the base is so huge that these cowards can hide in anonymnity. I have talked to the union about forcing the issue, but nothing as of yet. Believe me, there are plenty of guys in Mem that are not happy about these selfish a holes.

I spoke with him. He made a mistake and feels terrible about it. He wants to drop it but it has carryover which won't allow him to do it. No excuses for his mistake, but I think we can call off the dogs. He feels bad enough as it is. I think we can focus or angst elsewhere...

Not true. Show time for this trip is after open time release for Sep (27 Aug/1900CT/1600AKDT). He should be able to drop the trip, even with carryover.

But, not until open time is released for SEP and then only if the dreaded "insufficient reserves" excuse isn't in play.
