Delta tried the same with Capt WOW and it had a different outcome.

IIRC, ALPA arranged for him to see an ALPA approved (and paid for I assume) psychiatrist ... Barney refused and was fired

This was slightly before my time, but I don't think it was an ALPA board. It mentions Compuserve. (Remember them?) AOL used to have a FedEx board also. He (Barney) used to post on that board after all this transpired. I believe it was this type of forum that the posting was done.

It's OK, I have my laptop wrapped in tin foil (aluminum too hard to spell) nothing can get in or out. Of course you still have to watch out for barry monitoring your cell phone calls. Darn dick cheney left the plans for that program lying around for rahm to find.

...A FORMER FEDEX PILOT WHO WAS a vocal member of the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA), is suing members of the current union for allegedly libeling him in a letter to FedEx management. In a February 16, 1996, letter sent to CEO Fred Smith and other FedEx executives, one union member's wife asserted that Claude Barnhart, a 22-year FedEx employee, was "unbalanced," "mentally unstable," and harbored "a deep-seated malevolence," among other charges...

Wow, I haven't heard that story... So this was another pilot's wife correct? Not that pilot's ex-wife? Did he ever win his lawsuit? ...or settle?

I always wonder why some pilots' wives or husbands will post under their spouses names. Why not create their own screen names?
