When we get the data of how much flying the NON-UNION pilot of UPS are flying, that will not include how much they are used as Reserves. With a global business that needs to be able to adapt to the needs of today, The company needs to have adequate reserve coverage to deal with contingencies. That coverage should be staffed with UNION pilots.
Every time a Supervisor is on Reserve, That takes 1 or 2 Union pilots positions away that Union pilots should have. If these supervisors were not listed on Reserve, UPS would need more line pilots to cover those time periods.

I don't know the answers to the first 2 questions, and I don't totally understand the 3rd, but I'll take a shot at it. If you are asking "Does the whole crew get displaced for MDPF, no, only whatever particular seat they want. They could have 2 managers flying together, then yes, the whole crew is covered. "Does MDPF cover a whole pairing (i.e. a week-long pairing), no they can just displace for what they want. Now, there are rules in the contract that pertain to this scenario, but I'm not going to get into the specifics. Hope that helped.

First thing he did after printing it was paste it to his forehead, light it on fire, run back and forth in front of Rick Barr's office while screaming "look at me, look at me".

I'll call the union Monday, but does anyone now know the answers to these:
1. What is the percentage of revenue block hours flown by management? How many block hours does this percentage represent?
2. Of this number of block hours, how much was MPF and how much was MEF?
3. Was someone displaced for 100% of the MPF? If not, why not?

How many flights were backed up with a management super reserve that could have been an IPA pilot? Answer, 100%
