"You see once upon a time His Majesty petitioned the NMB that ACP's are not the same class and craft as us lowly freight dogs and therefore the IPA should be exempt from the Dorsey case."

If this statement is true, then I believe we need to have BM out of office before we petition the NMB. We cannot have anything that could be used against the IPA when going after something so important.

My personal opinion is to scope the supervisors (we need to start calling them what they truly are) out of the cockpits entirely, as well as removing them from performing training and checking. Let them supervise all they want, but we must do ALL of the flying and all of the training.

I agree with your charectorization of supervisors. They don't manage anything. In reality they don't even supervise anything. They do some checking and such, those duties can be handled quite well by seniority list employees. probably better even.

As for Bob's previous statements, for better or worse, he did say that. Short sighted thinking trying to keep those guys off of our list. That was what, 15 years ago?

Since then, the complexion of the whole situation has changed. Those guys have overstepped their bounds and are now flying in much greater numbers than we ever envisioned.
