Default DHL 72's to Kingman?

FlightAware > Live Flight Tracker > Kingman Airport (Kingman, AZ) [KIGM/IGM]

I think three 72's are being put to rest. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Try our whole 727 fleet. Not just 3. We've dropped from 28 airframes down to 3 now, I think.

Damn, that sucks. Are they just putting Freight on CCI now? I see your route structure is so intertwined with BAX, it's too hard to actually track anymore.

Was in KIGM for a completely different reason about 2 months ago and can verify there were quite a few being 'worked on' there.

So you aren't parking the 300's and 72's?

I guess the appropriate question here is, who are you, and why do you care? It isn't a subject any of us enjoy talking about.

I am a person who hates to see DHL go. I'm an Air Freight forwarder and you guys are my number one carrier; you have been for years! I have the best relationship out of my five Domestic AF Carriers with your sales reps and your inside people at the CVG Capacity office.

So, now you know that I care very much about DHL.

Plus, the 72 is my favourite AC other than the LR24D so there's another reason...

Fair enough ADX. DHL is done for. All our 727's are parked or sold. The A300fleet is now parked in the desert as well, and we are down to 8 DC8-73's actively flying. By Mar 2010, if we make it that long which is questionable at best, we will furlough 410 pilots, leaving us with 114. To put that in perspective, after 20 years of service, 13 as a DC8 Capt., I will move straight to the SO's seat. ABX has about 11 767's flying for DHL I believe (correct me if I have the count wrong ABX'ers) And the rest are ATI/CCI a/c that DHL and BAX are using in some sort of a "block space" abortion that involves them flying to both hubs, making service times for no one. (now CVG, and of course TOL) If I were you, I'd use either Purple or Brown. DHL is not DHL anymore, and hasn't been since 2002. It is DPWN under another name, and they don't know jack about Express freight. And I mean that seriously not just because I'm hacked off. They manage by remote control, which when you think about it, explains the Most Awesome Train Wreck Of All Time that we have been watching lo these past 5 years. DHL/DPWN will be a case study of "what not to do" at Wharton's for decades to come. I hope this answers some of your questions. I'd rather not discuss it further, as I might stroke out.

Best wishes in all you do, HVY.

I've put up the new DHL/BAX Network Route on our buletin board for service interuptions and under it states....

DHL/BAX Global New Routing
"block space abortion"

If you would like any royalties, we'd be more than glad to pay up.
