Default FDX R Day Removal

Does anyone know how the company is removing the 1 R day on a 4 week month. Thinking of conflicting training with a block of R days next month, and don't want them to remove one that would cause my R day block to not get entirely dropped.

According to the FCIF, in the "bidpacks" link in p.f.c there is a "modified reserve lines" link which shows with an "X" which day will be dropped from your R line. It seems to me like it would be easier to just modify the original R lines in the bidpack??? :eek

It would be easier for us but the result would increase the R day value and the Company wants to keep that value down apparently for some odd reason.

So if you conflict the whole string do you get paid for one Rday that was dropped?

Depends on what aircraft you fly, but it seems like there are fewer and fewer long strings of R days. There are no single lines in the MD in Memphis.

Question, I have VAC in AUG and got RSV. I got the notification that they are dropping 1 RSV day. However the RSV day they are dropping is within my VAC period. Shouldnt they drop a RSV that doesnt conflict with my VAC period? Seems like I may loose that day. Who would I talk to about this?

I still think you will get this:

number of vacation days + x = 14

x= the number of reserve days you will sit

In other words, it depends if you decide to extend your R days. If you extend your vacation days to 10, you will sit 4 days of reserve.

And given the low R day values (3:43 in the 72,) you can expand your vacation more. I have 8 days for Aug and VIPS said I could expand 6, which would knock out the whole month, and cost you 52:02 in Vacation Bank
