FDX-Break out the Champagne
Toast them high folks, our spiritual leader Dave "It's the right thing to do" Webb is gone. If you see him on the line, be sure and thank him for the fine job he's done, unless of course, you're in the 99% that he stuck his finger in their eye. Give him a high five and a wink and tell him how funny you find it that he told everybody not to bid the 777, then bid it himself, significantly increasing his seat seniority. What a HOOT! Yep, we'll miss ole' DW.....like a bad case of piles. Is he house hunting in Herndon yet?

Saw him in AOC last week getting the brief on what's what. Heard the LCA tell him we have this new thing called "fuel sense" which looks at things like fuel burn vs alternates etc etc. DW's eyes rolled back in his head and he told his SO to go get the coffe jug. Another guy was trying to explain to him what an "electronic signature" means on the flight release. BoooooooYahhhh!

He's showing up on the SIBA practice. Could be a loooong 12 day trip (with the same FO) NOT talking about Age 60, retro, FDA LOA (maybe with someone "winning" the great-deal FDA bid), preserving max carryover for seniors, etc etc etc.
