There is a long list of good deals lost because of one or two idiots. It was typical of the Navy to punish the whole group instead of the problem children. I guess the same applies here, too

IMHO, if you get a STHOTL in MEM, enjoy it. Do the movie star thing and have the family stay with you. I think we should enjoy the benefits the CBA affords us...
I get the have to stay in the hotel thing.

But how do they prohibit you from driving to the AOC in your personal vehicle? How would they know? Why would they care?

I don't think they provide transportation from your home or the AOC to the Doubletree or back to the doubletree to get your car if launched off hotel standby. The GT restriction was the scheduler winging it. They love to say no and you gave them another opportunity.

Once again we are our own worst enemies..... You ever heard of the " Crab syndrome?" If you throw a bunch of cabs in a pot to boil, if they see one of their buds getting out of the pot they'll actually grab him and drag him back in with the rest. Hello fellow crabs.......
Just bid R-A or R-B instead, be at home, and get the 1.5 hr callout!!
